We had the great opportunity to visit the Sivananda Ashram in Rishikesh a couple of days ago. This is the main slogan of the Divine Life Society car
ved on a marble pillar. The ashram had such a quiet and peaceful energy..so much different than at Haridwar. Our guide told us that Haridwar was very "religious" while Rishikesh was more "spiritual." Interesting distinction. We had private audience with the successor of the Sivananda lineage, which was a treat because he is not always there. Cypresse had to be removed form the premesis.
