Still a ways away from climbing the steps of the Taj Mahal. We are currently in the garden where Queen Muntaz Mahal was buried until the tomb was finished and she could be placed in her final resting place. The Taj Mahal is one of the NEW 7 wonders of the world and was commisioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 16th Century. It took 22 years to complete. The queen was his favorite wife, she died in child birth giving birth to her 14th child at the age of 39.
